Antimicrobial resistance toolkit for youth engagement

  24 October 2024

Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) is a global concern that requires attention and creative solutions. The Quadripartite, including the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), the World Health Organization (WHO), and the World Organisation for Animal Health (WOAH), believes that young people can play a crucial role in addressing AMR. They are identified as one of four priority target audiences during global consultations in 2022. The Quadripartite has developed a practical toolkit for engaging youth in AMR, aiming to equip youth-led networks and organizations with resources for communication, education, and campaigns for awareness-raising, advocacy, and behavior change.
